Indian National Congress

The Indian National Congress (nowadays called the Congress Party or Congress (in short it is called INC) is a political party in India with widespread roots.

But since last 10 to 12 years congress party lost its traditional vote bank in India and lost consecutive lok sabha elections.

Congress is in its worst era and continuously lossing its reputation. It was Founded in 1885 and it was first modren nationalist movement to emerge in the British ruled India in Asia.

In year 1920, under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi, became the principal leader of the Indian independence movement.

Congress led India to independence from the United Kingdom, and powerfully influenced other anti-colonial nationalist movements in the British Empire.
